This amazing bungalow was built in 1880 that housed doctor of Baroda State. It was located behind Memorial of Yuvaraj Fatehsinhrao Gaekwad, inside compound of SSG Hospital!
The bungalow was occupied by the head of resident doctors during 1886, who oversaw construction the Countess of Dufferin Hospital, which is now known as Sir Sayajirao Gaekwad Hospital (SSG Hospital).
The bungalow was made from bricks, mortar & wood. It was made in colonial British architecture, which has high ceilings & big windows for good air ventilation & lighting’s.
It is said that a french-man had designed the bungalow who too had a guest house and a garden.
As of present condition, the bungalow is demolished.
