Mahatma Gandhi Nagar Gruh

Mahatma Gandhi Nagar Gruh is a town hall situated in the center of the city which was constructed in 1954. The hall was recently revamped and was made into a fully air-conditioned facility with a seating capacity of about 600 people. It is primarily used for various cultural functions or drama.

In from of the hall is a statue of Mahatma Gandhi, this was unveiled by Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the then President of India on 16 November 1954. The statue was made by H. K. Doring.
